Firmware, systems, web. Same problems, different layers.

Sometimes you know exactly what would help and still can't do it. Not from ignorance or indifference. Some days the gap between knowing and doing just becomes strangely large. Pushing harder rarely fixes it.

What helps is a small win. Something countable. A point on the board that quietly says: yes, that happened.

WeekFirst works like that. You decide what a good week looks like — sleep, food, exercise, going outside, whatever matters — and collect points as you go. At the end of the week there is one number. Then it resets.

Small steps, repeated consistently, have a way of changing direction.

The same imbalance appears at home, just differently.

Someone is usually carrying more than the others realise. Not dramatically, it just accumulates. Until something minor turns into an argument that was never really about the dishes.

MonthFirst makes the month visible. Everyone logs dots as they go, each person their own colour. By the end of the month the picture is already there.

Usually, seeing it clearly is enough.

Neither asks for an account. A code gets you in.
